Liang Wengen

Liang Wengen ( Chinese  梁 稳 根 , Pinyin Liáng Wěngēn ; * 1956 in Hunan ) is currently considered the richest mainland Chinese . He is the founder and major shareholder of the heavy machinery manufacturer Sany Group Limited . As a result of the long-standing construction boom in China , Liang's private assets have grown to well over seven billion euros. At the end of January 2012, Liang's company took over the world's leading medium-sized Swabian company for concrete pumps, Putzmeister .

biography

Liang Wengen's professional career began with building a small welding shop in Hunan Province. Previously, he was a technician and deputy director of the Hongyuan Machine Factory Sports Reform Bureau of the Ministry of Arms Industry. In 1989 he founded the Sany Group, also in Hunan Province, and was its chairman and managing director for a long time. He has received many honorary degrees, e.g. B. that of the national example worker , a nationally distinguished private entrepreneur, as well as excellent as a builder of socialism in China . He was recognized as a young entrepreneur and received awards such as the National Labor Medal for Working Days and the Silver Award for Innovation in the Scientific Industry of China.

He was elected Man of Business in 2005 by the television broadcaster CCTV . He is also a representative of the 17th People's Congress of the Communist Party of China . National People's Congress, member of the Executive Committee of the National Association of Industry and Commerce, Vice President of the Association of Industry and Commerce in Hunan Province, and visiting professor at the Business Administration Institute of Hunan University .

He is said to be one of the first entrepreneurs to move into the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party .

He lives in Hunan Province, is married and has one child.
