Libellula composita is a dragonfly - Art of the genus Libellula of the subfamily Libellulinae . It occurs mainly in the western parts of the United States .

Construction of the Imago

The animal reaches a length of 42 to 48 millimeters, of which 28 to 33 millimeters are on the abdomen . The animal has a white face in which the large compound eyes common for dragonflies are also white. The thorax, on the other hand, is brown and has a lighter line along the middle of the back. The legs are light at the base and turn black towards the end. The wings have a brown shadow at the base and at the nodus . The Costa is unlike the other black veins of Flügeladerung yellow.
