Libor tome
Libor Wälzer (born December 8, 1975 in Sokolov ) is a Czech weightlifter .
Career
In 1999, Wälzer took part in the European Championships for the first time and reached eleventh place in the class up to 105 kg. In 2006 he was fifth in the snatch at the European Championships , but had no valid attempt in pushing. At the 2007 European Championships he was tenth and ninth at the 2008 European Championships . In the same year he took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing and finished in 15th place. After several World Cup appearances, Wälzer achieved his best World Cup placement at the 2009 World Championships with twelfth place. In 2010 he was tenth at the European Championships . At the 2011 World Championships , however, he was tested positive for methylhexanamine during the doping control and was banned for two years.
