The Lichen Lake ( English for lichen lake ) is a 1 km long and narrowed lake on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located in the Lichen Valley in the Vestfold Mountains .
Lichen Lake is one of several lakes that Davis Station biologists examined in 1974 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . They named it after the naming of the valley of the same name.
