Lichters Schnitzeljagd is a cook - docu-soap produced by the production company First Entertainment GmbH since 2012 . It will be moderated by TV chef Horst Lichter . The first episode was broadcast on March 16, 2012 on WDR television at 9:00 p.m. In the summer of 2014, WDR repeated the episodes on Saturdays at 5:50 p.m. in the new cut with a length of approx. 30 minutes.
concept
Horst Lichter goes on a scavenger hunt through the state of North Rhine-Westphalia with his red motorcycle team , a converted Kawasaki that is made available to him for the broadcast . He is looking for people with whom he can cook their favorite dishes, mostly regional ones. Before starting each journey, Lichter receives a yellow envelope with three key words and the name and place of residence of the person or persons sought. Since the fourth season, Lichter has received a scroll at the beginning of which he will gradually find further scrolls marked with a wooden spoon, which will lead him to his goal. On his travels he gets to know the country and its people with their interesting hobbies , jobs and stories.
