Lidan is a Swedish river in the historical province of Västergötland and today's province of Västra Götalands län .

Lidan flows in the Vänern near Lidköping and thus got the name from the city of Lidköping . The river has its source in the Ulricehamn highlands . The river has a length of 93 km and a basin of 2,262 km².
