Lidia Berroeta

Lidia Berroeta de Novoa (* 1880 in Illapel , † 1943 in Santiago de Chile ) was a Chilean sculptor .

Berroeta studied at the Escuela de Bellas Artes with Virginio Arias . Her works were exhibited several times in the Salón Oficial in Santiago in the 1910s, receiving several prizes for plastic. She was also honored at the Exposición Internacional de Quito in Ecuador and the Exposición Internacional de Buenos Aires in Argentina. She stood out above all with portrait sculptures.

She belonged to the Generación del Trece (Generación del 13).
