Lidija Vasilievna Blochina

Lidija Wassiljewna Blochina ( Russian Лидия Васильевна Блохина ; born December 1, 1954 in Kislyar ) is a Soviet - Russian mechanical engineer and women's rights activist .

Life

Blochina's father Vasily Karpowitsch Sipko (* 1919) was the chief engineer of the Kizlyar cognac factory . Blochina is married and has two children: Oxana (* 1975) and Konstantin (* 1983). Blochina studied at the Dagestani Polytechnic Institute in Makhachkala , graduating in 1976.

After graduating, Blochina headed the Innovative Technologies Department of the Dagestani Ministry of Housing and Communal Services. 1989–1996 Blochina worked in Tolyatti in the Volga Automobile Plant as an engineer for warranty cases .

When the Lada trading company was founded in Moscow in 1997 , Blochina became its general director and remained so until 2006.

Blochina was constantly involved in the women's movement . She founded the Art and Feminine Style Charity Foundation. She has been the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of Businesswomen of Russia since 2002 . She founded the international socio-economic women's union in Moscow in 2004 and is its president. She is the President of the Coordinating Council of the Society for the Promotion of Women's Sports and Tourism of Women Drivers in Russia and a member of the Council of the Romanov Fund for the Promotion of Sports and Medicine . She is a member of the Commission for International Cooperation and Social Diplomacy of the Social Chamber of the Russian Federation .
