Lidkvarvet

The Lidkvarvet is a 2,310  m high and partly icy mountain in the Heimefrontfjella the East Antarctic Queen Maud Lands . It rises in the northeastern foothills of the Sivorgfjella .

Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1967. It is named after Ingvald Monsen Lid (1889–1965), a resistance fighter responsible for communications against the German occupation of Norway in World War II .
