Honey, I've Shrunk the Kids is an American science fiction series about creator Wayne Szalinski and his family, wife Diane and kids Nick and Amy.
The series is based on the film of the same name : An attempt to shrink the children has gone wrong. Further experiments go wrong in the series.
The zealous but good-natured scientist Wayne Szalinski constructs a multitude of different inventions, including the shrink radiator. So he gets into trouble again and again. His wife Diane works as a lawyer.
The series is set in Matheson , Colorado . However, it was shot in Calgary , in the Currie Barracks, a disused housing estate of the Canadian armed forces .
Awards
The series won two Emmys and a Young Artist Award . She was also nominated for another Emmy, a DGA Award , a Motion Picture Sound Award and another Young Artist Award.
