The Life & Casualty Tower is a skyscraper in Nashville , Tennessee . It has a total height of 152.5 m and was the first skyscraper in Nashville when it opened in 1957. The building was designed by the architect Edwin Keeble and has 30 floors. It was also the tallest building in Tennessee until 1965 when it was superseded by the 100 North Main in Memphis .

The main building materials are limestone , granite and green glass for the windows.
