The One Nashville Place is a skyscraper in Nashville , Tennessee . It has a total height of 109 m and 25 floors. The octagonal building is also called R2D2 by the residents of Nashville , based on the well-known character from the Star Wars films. It is currently the tenth tallest building in the city.
The Regions Financial company logo has been on the roof of the building since May 12, 2012 . The names of several other banks were already emblazoned on the building in front of this lettering.
At the end of 2014, TA Associates Realty bought the building and hired the Boyle Investment Company to manage it.
