Act

During the air raid in mid-February 1945, Hünlich came to Dresden with her family , where she completed her acting training after the war .

First she performed at the Staatstheater Dresden . She had other engagements in Zwickau , Bautzen and Halle . In 1953 she left the German Democratic Republic and played at various theaters in North Rhine-Westphalia .

For the first time at the Theater Regensburg she stepped into the role of "Countess ORSINA" in Lessing's Emilia Galotti on, for which she received a piece of the contract for four years by the then director Walter Storz for a guest performance. After an interlude on the stage in Rheydt , she and her husband Joschi Hermann were brought to Regensburg by Volker von Collande in 1966. Until 2002 she was a permanent member of the Regensburg Theater ensemble under six different directors and was considered the “ grande dame ” of the theater. She made her stage debut as a committed actress in Regensburg in Maria Stuart by Friedrich Schiller . In The visit of the Old Lady by Friedrich Dürrenmatt she played the lead role of "Claire Zachanassian". In 1987 she played the role of the terminally ill "Marthe" in Michael Bleiziffer's production of Edward Bond's social drama Sommer (original title: Summer ). Her personal favorite role was that of "Isobell Campell" in Jerome Kilty's Gelieber Lüner (Original title: Dear Liar: A Comedy of Letters ). From 1996 to 1999 she was still in old age in Bleiziffer's staging of Goethe's Faust I as theater director and head witch. After her employment in Regensburg she always turned down offers from other theaters, as did the offer of a farewell role. Even after her retirement, she still had guest roles, but had to give up active acting in 2003 due to health problems. Overall, she was seen in numerous classic and modern roles.

Hünlich last lived in the Kursana senior citizens ' home in Lappersdorf . She died at the age of 86. Her body was buried in the Trinity Mountain Cemetery.
