The Lija Athletic FC is a Maltese football club from the town of Lija . Since it was founded in 1949, he has played three seasons in the Maltese top division, the Maltese Premier League (1996/97, 2001/02 and 2004/05 ).
In the 2016/17 season, Lija Athletics was champion of the second-rate Maltese First Division and thus played again in the Premier League in 2017/18 , but then rose again from bottom of the table.
