Cleavon Frendo (born July 1, 1985 in Pietà ) is a Maltese football player .

Career

Frendo began his career at the local club Pietà Hotspurs , where he was a regular player straight away. In the meantime he has been loaned from Lija Athletics . In the summer of 2004 he moved to FC Marsaxlokk , where he achieved his greatest success by winning the 2006/07 championship. After four successful years, he moved to Valletta FC in the summer of 2008 . In the following three years Frendo could not fight for a regular place at Valletta and from 2011 lending deals with other Maltese first division clubs followed regularly. He returned to Valletta every summer and was loaned out again a month later. At the beginning of 2018 he was signed to FC Marsaxlokk.

For the national team of Malta he played a total of nine internationals between 2004 and 2008, in which he scored one goal.
