Like a G6 is a house and hip-hop song by the Los Angeles- based electro-hop band Far East Movement , together with the US music producer The Cataracs and the US rapper Dev .

The name of the song goes back to the Gulfstream G650 (G6). The song uses a sample from Dev's commercially unsuccessful song Booty Bounce.

The song rose to number 1 in the US Billboard charts and the single reached number 9 in Canada . Like a G6 made it to number 10 in the Swiss charts , and in Germany it rose to number 16 on December 10, 2010 Single charts . On October 12, 2010, the single was awarded four times platinum in the US with over four million copies sold . Like a G6 also reached number 1 in the download and airplay charts of the USA .

In the music video for Like a G6 , Erica Ocampo plays the lead role and dances with Far East Movement.
