Solopaca is a municipality in Italy in the Campania region in the Benevento province with 3679 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). It is part of the mountain community Comunità Montana del Taburno .

geography

The municipality is located about 25 km west of the provincial capital Benevento in the hill country on the east side of Monte Taburno . The neighboring municipalities are Castelvenere , Frasso Telesino , Guardia Sanframondi , Melizzano , Telese Terme and Vitulano . Another district is Solopaca Scalo.

economy

The community lives mainly from agriculture (olives, wine, fruits) and tourism.
