Vitulano is a municipality in Italy in the Campania region in the Benevento province with 2865 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). It is part of the mountain community Comunità Montana del Taburno .

The municipality is located about 18 km west of the provincial capital Benevento . The neighboring municipalities are Campoli del Monte Taburno , Castelpoto , Cautano , Foglianise , Frasso Telesino , Guardia Sanframondi , Paupisi , San Lorenzo Maggiore , Solopaca and Torrecuso . Other districts are Ponterutto and Santo Stefano.
