Buonalbergo is a municipality in Italy in the Campania region in the Benevento province with 1633 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). She is a member of the mountain community Comunità Montana del Fortore .

The municipality is located about 25 km east of the provincial capital Benevento on the Calore Irpino river . The neighboring municipalities are Apice , Casalbore ( AV ), Montecalvo Irpino ( AV ), Paduli , San Giorgio La Molara and Sant'Arcangelo Trimonte . The districts are Brecciale, Campanili, Cesine, Ficonera, Fontana Crocelle, Fontanone, Montepalumbo, Ponteladrone, Scarpuzza, Tavernola and Toppo del Notaio.
