Location of Morcone

The municipality is located about 20 km north of the provincial capital Benevento in the hill country on the east side of Monte Taburno . The neighboring municipalities are Cusano Mutri , Guardia Sanframondi , Morcone , Pietraroja , Pontelandolfo , San Lorenzello and San Lupo . The districts are Acquara, Cerquelle, Cesine di Sopra, Cesine di Sotto, Dodici Angeli, Madonna del Carmine, Madonna delle Grazie, Madonna della Libera, Montrino, Pezzalonga, Pontecolonna, Raone and Trocchia.
