Location of Cusano Mutri

The municipality is located about 40 km northwest of the provincial capital Benevento in the hill country on the east side of Monte Taburno . The neighboring municipalities are Cerreto Sannita , Faicchio , Gioia Sannitica (CE) , Guardiaregia (CB) , Piedimonte Matese (CE) , Pietraroja , San Lorenzello and San Potito Sannitico (CE) . The districts are Bocca della Selva and Civitella Licinio.
