Jon Huertas (born October 23, 1976 in New York City , New York ) is an American actor .

Life

Jon Huerta's father was Puerto Rican and his mother was white. He was raised by his grandparents. He attended Texas Christian University and composes.

He became known for his role as Sergeant Antonio "Poke" Espera in the miniseries Generation Kill - based on the bestseller of the same name by the American writer and journalist Evan Wright - and as Joe Negroni in the film Why Do Fools Fall in Love of rock 'n' roll and as Detective Javier Esposito in the television series Castle .

It is also known that he fundraisers visited the military.
