His team consists of Ty Curtis ( Omari Hardwick ), who wants to spend more time with his wife Melissa ( Meta Golding ). Ty struggles to let go of relationships he built while undercover. Dean Bendis ( Logan Marshall-Green ) likes to do his own thing. Carter and Ty fear that one day he will dive too far into his cover . The new member is Jaimie Allen ( Nicki Aycox ). Previously still on patrol duty, she is hired by Shaw, because Jaimie already has a lot of experience with "undercover work" in her own life. Under her real name Jaimie Anderson, she was a felon in her youth and joined the police under a false name. Shaw maintains contact with the LAPD through Capt. Russell Maynard ( Tyrees Allen ).
