Meta Golding

Meta Golding (born November 2, 1971 in Haiti ) is a Haitian - American actress .

Life and accomplishments

Golding is the daughter of a United Nations official and a Haitian beauty contest winner. She grew up in the United States, India , France , Italy, and Haiti . In Italy she played in several plays in the national language. Golding graduated from Cornell University with a degree in theater arts and political science .

Golding made her film actress debut in the 1995 comedy Conversations , in which she played the lead role of an unemployed actress. In the comedy The Way We Are (1997) she was seen alongside Hilary Swank in one of the bigger roles. In the musical comedy Louis & Frank (1998) she starred alongside Steve Buscemi and Tony Curtis . She took on a bigger role in 2006 and 2007 in the television series Day Break , in which she played the sister of the main character Detective Brett Hopper ( Taye Diggs ), who was abused by her husband . In 2013 she took on the role of Enobaria in the science fiction film The Hunger Games - Catching Fire .

She lives in Los Angeles .
