Graeme Revell

Graeme Revell (born October 23, 1955 in Auckland , New Zealand) is an industrial pioneer and composer for film music , especially in the Hollywood film industry.

biography

Revell had a classical music education ( piano and horn ) and studied economics and political science.

In 1978 he founded the style-defining industrial band SPK in Sydney , Australia (together with his future wife Sinan, among others) .

After SPK broke up in the late 1980s, he began writing music for films and has now composed over 50 soundtracks . He also composes music for television series such as CSI .
