The municipality is located about 25 km west of the provincial capital Benevento in the hill country on the east side of Monte Taburno . The neighboring municipalities are Arienzo ( CE ), Caserta ( CE ), Dugenta , Durazzano , Frasso Telesino , Limatola , Moiano , Santa Maria a Vico ( CE ), Tocco Caudio and Valle di Maddaloni ( CE ). The districts are Bagnoli, Boscocupo Torretta, Cantinella, Cerreta, Cotugni Paolini, Faggiano, Laiano, Palmentata, Presta, San Silvestro Migliara, Santa Croce, Sant'Anna, San Tommaso, Saviano, Traugnano, Tuoro di Santagata and Verroni.
