The municipality is located about 40 km east of the provincial capital Benevento on the Fortore River . The neighboring municipalities are Baselice , Molinara , Montefalcone di Val Fortore , Roseto Valfortore ( FG ), San Bartolomeo in Galdo , San Giorgio La Molara and San Marco dei Cavoti . The districts are Frassineta, Ponte Carboniera and Serra Verdito.
