Likymnios of Chios

Likymnios of Chios was an ancient Greek sophist from the city of Chios .

Dionysius of Halicarnassus counts him among the disciples of the sophist Gorgias . After Aristotle , he wrote a paper on the art of rhetoric. Presumably he also dealt with the grammatical classification of words ( onomáton diaíresis ).
