Lilly to Rantzau
Lilly Countess zu Rantzau (also: Lilli zu Rantzau , born March 11, 1895 as Lilli Freiin von Maltzahn in Bromberg ; † December 9, 1988 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German writer .
Life
Lilly zu Rantzau had been married to the police chief and later Ministerialrat Otto zu Rantzau since 1917 ; The marriage resulted in two sons, both of whom died in World War II . The couple lived in Berlin during the time of National Socialism .
Lilly zu Rantzau wrote several novels , of which the work Comrade Woman reached a total circulation of over 80,000 copies between 1937 and 1941 .
