Limonium carpathum is a species of the genus beach Lilac ( Limonium ) in the family of plumbaginaceae (Plumbaginaceae).
features
Limonium carpathum is a perennial subshrub that reaches heights of 20 to 40 centimeters. The leaves measure 40 to 90 × 1 to 2 millimeters. They are very narrow. The ears have 2 to 4 spikelets per centimeter. These are usually two-flowered, rarely single-flowered. The inner bract and calyx are about 5.5 millimeters in size.
The flowering time is in June.
Occurrence
Limonium carpathum is on the island of Karpathos in the Aegean endemic . The species grows on rocky coasts by the sea.
