Lin Yue (born August 24, 1994 in Jilin ) is a Chinese short tracker .

Career

Lin first appeared internationally in February 2013 at the Junior World Championships in Warsaw . There she won the bronze medal over 500 m and the silver medal with the relay. At the beginning of the 2014/15 season she made her debut in Salt Lake City in the World Cup, finishing 17th over 1000 m and seventh over 500 m. With the season she reached second place there. In the further course of the season she reached second and third place over 500 m. With the relay over 3000 m, she won her first two World Cup victories and took second place twice. At the 2015 World Championships in Moscow , she won the silver medal with the relay over 3000 m. She finished the season in fifth place in the 500 m World Cup. The following year she was fourth with the relay at the World Championships in Seoul . At the 2017 World Championships in Rotterdam , she won the gold medal with the relay. In February 2017, she won the silver medal with the relay at the Winter Asian Games in Sapporo .
