Linas Jonauskas
Linas Jonauskas (born July 11, 1979 in Mažeikiai ) is a Lithuanian social democratic politician , deputy minister , head of Lietuvos socialdemokratinio jaunimo sąjunga (Young Social Democrats of Lithuania).
Life
After graduating from Senamiesčio Middle School and School for Young Leaders in Mažeikiai in 1997, he studied at Gedimino technikos universitetas in Vilnius . In 2007 he completed the bachelor's degree in social pedagogy and then studied social work in the master's degree at the Institute for Social Communication of the Vilniaus pedagoginis universitetas . From 1998 to 2000 he worked as a teacher in Mažeikiai. From 2000 to 2004 he was an assistant to the member of Seimas . In 2007 he was an advisor to Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas . Since December 2012 he has been Deputy Minister of the Environment of Lithuania , Deputy to Valentinas Mazuronis until 2014 and Deputy to Kęstutis Trečiokas in the Butkevičius cabinet since 2014 .
He is single and has the son Elvinas.
