Linda Olivieri (born July 14, 1998 in Turin ) is an Italian hurdler who specializes in the 400 meter distance .

Athletic career

Linda Olivieri gained her first international experience in 2015 when she reached the semi-finals in hurdles at the Youth World Championships in Cali , where she was eliminated with 59.03 seconds. In addition, she took seventh place with the mixed 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 25.29 min. In 2017 she reached fourth place in the U20 European Championships in Grosseto in 57.00 s and was sixth in the Italian 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 35.86 min. In 2018 she finished fourth at the U23 Mediterranean Championships in Jesolo in 58.16 s and also qualified for the European Championships in Berlin , where she was eliminated with 58.47 s in the lead. The following year, she won the silver medal behind Belgian Paulien Couckuyt at the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 56.22 s and also qualified for the World Championships in Doha , where she was eliminated in the first round with 56.82 s .
