Georgenstrasse 2 (Planegg)
The house at Georgenstrasse 2 in the Upper Bavarian community of Planegg in the Munich district is a residential building. It is also called the Valentinhaus after its previous resident, Karl Valentin . The building is registered as a monument in the Bavarian List of Monuments .

The house is located in the center of Planegg at the confluence of Georgenstrasse and Germeringer Strasse, about 50 meters west of the Würm .
history
The building was erected in 1919. In 1924, the Munich folk actor Karl Valentin (1882–1948) acquired the house as a retirement home. When air raids threatened Munich in the last years of the war , he left his apartment in the city and moved here. He lived there until his death on Rose Monday in 1948.
description
The single-storey building has a floor plan of around 11 × 9 meters and has a mansard roof with a half-hip . The north side is about 2 meters deep and 7 meters wide with a hipped roof, flush with the east side. A glass winter garden is attached to the southeast corner
