Linde Bischof (born April 24, 1945 in Wasungen ) is a German painter and graphic artist .

life and work

After graduating from the polytechnic high school in Wasungen, Linde Bischof learned the profession of utility applicant from 1961 to 1964 in Meiningen . From 1964 to 1968 she studied commercial graphics at the College for Advertising and Design in Berlin-Schöneweide and from 1968 to 1973 painting and graphics at the Art Academy Berlin-Weißensee under Günther Brendel and Arno Mohr . Since 1973 she has been working freelance in Berlin . The search for her motifs on site is significant for her work: from 1982 to 1989 she regularly stayed with Sinti and Roma on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and from 2000 on the Mediterranean in Lycia, Turkey. She is particularly interested in portrait painting .
