Lindenloch is a deserted village west of Langenselbold in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse .

Geographical location

The place was located in the Ronneburg hill country between Langenselbold and Ravolzhausen on a slight hill southeast of the Fallbach valley (Flur Im Linnenlohrgut ), according to other information near the Bruderdiebacher Hof . Today the motorway exit Langenselbold West of the A45 is located there .

history

Lindenloch belonged to the Selbold monastery as an outer courtyard or a small village . After the secularization of the monastery, the place was part of the Ysenburg court of Selbold . The Selbold invoices in the Birstein archive show that there were seven people paying leases in 1556. It is not known when the settlement was abandoned.
