The Fallbach rises at the foot of the southwest Büdinger Forest , east of Büdingen - Vonhausen , directly on the federal highway 457 . It flows through the Ronneburg hill country below the eponymous castle . At Erlensee -Langendiebach, part of its water is temporarily supplied to the Kinzig near Rückingen via the Landwehrbach . On the northern outskirts of Hanau, the Fallbach flows into the Krebsbach . The Fallbach flows through Hanau in a southerly direction and finally flows into the Kinzig .
