Neuwiedermuß is a district of the municipality of Ronneburg in the Main-Kinzig district in Hesse .
Neuwiedermuß is located in the Ronneburg hill country on the Fallbach . Before the regional reform, the district comprised 185 hectares of which 23 hectares were forest.
history
(Alt-) Wiedermuss was a village in the Selbold monastery . The village was in the Ronneburg court. The village was destroyed in the Thirty Years War . In 1686 a Palatinate resident in Langenselbold wanted to set up a “house and barn” in the area of the destroyed village “Wiederums” in the Fuchsgraben, to clear and build some land. Construction began in 1699. In 1708 (Neu-) Wiedermuss had 19 households. The Neuwiedermußer used to belong to Hüttengesäß, they formed part of the community. The village owned timber and grazing rights near the Ronneburg. The older ones call Neuwiedermuß "Fuchsgraben" to this day.
On December 31, 1971 Neuwiedermuß was incorporated into the new municipality of Ronneburg.
