Lindsay Dowd (born May 14, 1991 in Los Gatos , California ) is an American volleyball player .

Career

Dowd began her career at Archbishop Mitty High School in San José . In 2010 she began studying communications at the University of California, Davis , where she played on the university team at UC Davis Aggies. In 2011 she was not used because of an injury (“redshirt”). After completing her studies, the setter switched to the Swiss second division club VBC Freiburg . The following season, Dowd, who has a Filipino mother, played for the Filipino club Philips Gold Lady Slammers in Manila . In 2016 she was signed by the German Bundesliga club Ladies in Black Aachen . With the club she reached the quarter-finals in the Bundesliga playoffs and in the DVV Cup 2016/17 in the 2016/17 season . The following year she reached the playoff semifinals . For the 2018/19 season she moved to France to Pays d'Aix Venelles .
