Line Widt Fruensgaard (born July 17, 1978 in Herning ; née Line Daugaard ) is a former Danish handball player .
Career
Fruensgaard played for the Danish first division club Ikast FS, which merged with other clubs in 1999 to form Ikast-Bording Elite Håndbold. After the outside player was under contract with the Danish club Brabrand IF in the 2000/01 season , she returned to Ikast-Bording Elite Håndbold. From January 2006, she took a year off due to pregnancy. In 2008, the club name in Ikast-Brande Elite Håndbold and a year later changed the club with the formed FC Midtjylland the FC Midtjylland Håndbold . After the 2009/10 season, Fruensgaard ended her career. During her career at club level, she won the Danish championship in 1998, the EHF Cup in 2002 , the European Cup Winners ' Cup in 2004 and the Danish Cup three times.
Fruensgaard played a total of 103 caps for the Danish national team , in which they scored 307 goals. With Denmark she won the gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2002 European Championship .

Line Fruensgaard is married to the handball player Jeppe Fruensgaard .
