Lingoni ( Arabic لينكني) is a city on the Comoros island of Anjouan in the Indian Ocean . The city lies in the valley of the river of the same name and is located on a mountain range at an altitude of approx. 200 m.

geography

Lingoni is located in the center of the island in the valley of the river of the same name, whose tributaries arise in the slopes of Madzirikini and Hasiaka , foothills of the Trindrini . The river valley is populated and runs south to Magnassini-Nindri , where the river flows into the sea at Pomoni on the south coast.

climate

Lingoni is located in the tropical rainforest climate . Temperatures are constant all year round and are between 20 ° C and 25 ° C.
