Linnormegget (Norwegian for Lindwurmei ) is a rocky hill in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Payer group of Hoelfjella it rises 5 km south of the Linnormen group of hills .
The first aerial photographs were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . Norwegian cartographers, who also named the hill, mapped it on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
