Xu Linyin ( Chinese  徐林胤 ; born March 20, 1986 in Shanghai ) is a Chinese beach volleyball player.

Career

In 2005, Xu completed his first joint tournament in Brazil with his long-term partner Wu Penggen . At the 2007 World Cup in Gstaad , they took a good fifth place. Xu was named FIVB Most Improved Player in 2007 . At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , Wu / Xu also made it into the top ten in front of their own audience, finishing ninth. Then Xu and Wu separated for a year, only to find their way back to success since the end of 2009. In 2010 Wu / Xu achieved their greatest successes to date with the tournament victories in Moscow and Marseille . Xu received the FIVB Most Inspirational award in 2010 . In 2012, Xu / Wu took part in the Olympic Games in London for the second time .
