Linz against the right

Linz Against Right is a broad anti-fascist and democratic alliance of more than 60 organizations in the city of Linz in Austria .

Linz gegen Rechts sees itself as an amalgamation of democratic and anti-fascist organizations, associations, parties and individual personalities who turn against right-wing extremism and neo-fascism , racism , xenophobia and anti-Semitism . The alliance also rejects all forms of sexism and homophobia .

The immediate reason for the establishment of the alliance Linz against the law in October 2013 was to organize the protest against the annual ball of the German national fraternities in the Palais des Kaufmännischer Verein in Linz. Linz gegen Rechts announced a counter-demonstration - with 500 participants - when the Defender of Europe congress will take place on March 3, 2018 in the Wasserschloss Aistersheim .
