The Lippe intelligence sheets were an official bulletin in the county of Lippe and after its elevation to the principality in 1789 in the principality of Lippe . It was founded as an intelligence paper in 1767 and changed its name to Fürstlich-Lippisches intelligence paper on January 7, 1809 . The newsletter was discontinued on December 31, 1842. The newspaper was printed and published by the Meyersche Hofbuchhandlung in Lemgo .

The Lippische Landes-Zeitung , which appears today, sees itself in the tradition of the Lippische intelligence papers . After the publication of the intelligence papers was discontinued in 1842, they were replaced by the government and advertisement papers at the Detmold publishing site . In 1878 the Lippische Landes-Zeitung replaced the government and advertisement sheet.

In the period from 1773 to 1783 Johann Lorenz Benzler directed the intelligence papers.
