Lisa-Maria Zeller lives in Maishofen in Salzburg and belongs to the Maishofen Ski Club. In 2008, at the age of 15, Zeller first drew attention to herself when she took fifth place twice in slalom and giant slalom and second place in slalom at national youth races in Livigno. At the Austrian Junior State Championships in 2011, she secured the national title in slalom. She was able to repeat this success in St. Anton / Arlberg in 2012. In the European Cup 2011/2012 she reached 5th place in the super combination ranking . In 2010 and 2011 she has won three FIS races so far . In 2012 she could not win an FIS race, but reached second or third place several times.
Lisa-Maria Zeller recorded the greatest triumph of her career so far at the 2013 Junior World Championships in Québec. In the giant slalom, she won gold from Ragnhild Mowinckel from Norway. As a result, she was eligible to start in this discipline at the World Cup finals on Lenzerheide, where she made her debut on March 17, 2013, but was eliminated in the first round. In the winter of 2013/14 Zeller started mainly in the European Cup, where she achieved her first victory in the slalom in Soldeu on March 15, 2014 . Without having won a race, she secured victory in the European Cup slalom classification in the 2014/15 season. Zeller secured his first World Cup points on December 29, 2015 with 23rd place in the Lienz slalom .
