Lisa-Marie Vizaniari

Lisa-Marie Vizaniari (born February 14, 1971 in Lake Cargelligo , New South Wales ) is a former Australian discus thrower who was also successful in the shot put .

In 1990 she won the discus throw at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland and won silver at the Junior World Championships in Plovdiv . At the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, she won bronze in the shot put and finished sixth in the discus throw.

In 1995 she did not get past the first round in the discus throw at the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg . In the same discipline she was sixth at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and twelfth at the 1997 World Cup in Athens. In 1998 she won silver at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur . At the 1999 World Cup in Seville, she was eliminated in qualifying, and at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney she was again eighth.

In 1995 she became Australian champion in the shot put, in 1996 and 1999 in discus throw.
