Lisa Izquierdo (-Mocasqui) (born August 29, 1994 in Staßfurt ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Lisa Izquierdo grew up as the daughter of a Cuban and a German in Staßfurt, where she began playing volleyball at home VC 97. In 2007 she moved to Dresden for the VC Olympia, where she played with the junior team in the second division . The outside attacker also played in the youth or junior national team and took part in world and European championships. In 2012 she was signed by the Bundesliga club Dresdner SC , with whom she became German runner-up in 2013. This year Izquierdo also had her first appearances in the senior national team , with which she won the European league and became vice European champion in her own country . In 2014 and 2015 she won the German championship with Dresden. In 2016 she won the German "Double". Then Izquierdo moved to Turkey to Samsun Anakent and in 2017 to the Romanian champion CS Volei Alba- Blaj . In preparation for the 2017/18 season, she suffered a serious knee injury and therefore returned to Germany without having played a competitive game for the Romanian club. She then had an operation and stopped playing volleyball until 2018.

For the 2018/19 season she was signed by Bundesliga promoted NawaRo Straubing .
