Lisa Deanna Rinna (born July 11, 1963 in Medford , Oregon ) is an American actress and presenter .

life and career

Rinna began her career with the role of Billie Reed in the US soap opera Zeit der Sehnsucht , which she impersonated from 1992 to 1995. Shortly after getting out of the soap opera, she got the role of Taylor McBride , a character she was able to play for 66 episodes on the Melrose Place series . As Billie Reed , she has had three other comebacks since then, namely in 2002, from 2004 to 2005 and most recently in 2012.

In 2002 Rinna took over the moderation of the program Soap Talk , in which she interviewed actors from US soap operas. This earned her a total of three Emmy nominations (2003, 2005, 2006). In the television series Veronica Mars , she played the role of Lynn Echolls from 2004 to 2005 .

In addition to her work as an actress and presenter, Rinna owns two fashion boutiques in California . Rinna has been married to fellow actor Harry Hamlin since March 29, 1997 , with whom she has two daughters (* 1998, 2001).
