Harry Hamlin
Harry Robinson Hamlin (born October 30, 1951 in Pasadena , California ) is an American actor .
life and work
Hamlin graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in Berkeley , California. The first feature film in which he appeared was the comedy Movie Movie from 1978. For this role, he was nominated in 1979 for the Golden Globe Award for Best Young Actor. In the fantasy film Clash of the Titans (1981) he played the role of Perseus alongside Laurence Olivier . In the film drama Making Love (1982) he appeared in a larger role alongside Michael Ontkean and Kate Jackson .
From 1986 to 1991 he played the role of Michael Kuzak in the television series L.A. Law , for which he was nominated for the Golden Globe in 1988, 1989 and 1990. In 1987, People magazine named him the Sexiest Man Alive . Several leading roles followed, such as in the television films Sensual Deception (1990), Deadly Intentions (1991), Quarantine (2000) and Sex, Lies & Obsession (2001). He had his last major role from 2004 to 2006 as Aaron Echolls in the television series Veronica Mars .
From 2013 he took on the role of Jim Cutler in the AMC series Mad Men .
Hamlin has been living in his third marriage to actress Lisa Rinna since March 29, 1997 , with whom he has two daughters (* 1998, * 2001). He was previously married to Laura Johnson from March 9, 1985 to 1989 and to Nicollette Sheridan from September 7, 1991 to 1993 . He also has a son (* 1980) with the actress Ursula Andress .
